Madonna to Block Brother’s Memoir?
It has recently been reported that Madonna’s brother Christopher Ciccone is writing a tell-all book about his famous sister and now it has been revealed she is trying to stop publication. By: Shannon Gossage

It was reported that Madonna had met with a lawyer in London leading many to speculate on the status of her marriage, but now it is being reported that she is meeting with lawyers to discuss how to stop publication on a tell-all her brother is writing. A source reported, "When she was meeting with lawyers and everyone was saying it was because she wanted to divorce Guy, she was really meeting with them to get the book killed."

Ciccone’s book Life With My Sister is reportedly going to hit bookshelves in mid-July and will be released by Simon & Schuster. The company said in a statement, "Ciccone’s extraordinary memoir is based on his life and 47 years of growing up with and working with his sister – the most famous woman in the world." There has been "no comment" from Madonna’s camp so far but it has been reported that she is not happy about the book. Her rep has said that Madonna has not met with any lawyers about the book.

Should be interesting to see what Ciccone has to say since he and Madonna have reportedly not been on speaking terms for quite some time. There has been no word on exactly what Ciccone plans on discussing in his book, but it has been rumored that Diane Sawyer may be the first to get an interview with Ciccone. A source said, "Simon & Schuster has been talking to Diane’s team for two weeks." Simon & Schuster has denied that any interviews have been set up.
