The Purpose Of Life In My Eyes
I believe that finding one's goal in life is the real purpose of life but i was wrong. Instead putting God in the center of one's life is the real purpose for He is the only way of life. The most basic question everyone faces in life is Why am I here? What is my purpose? Some people say one should look within, at their own desires and dreams and I think I can count myself into one of those people. However, after reading the book "Stories for A faithful Heart by Alice Gray", which my beloved grandma lend me, I was changed. For the reason that I did not imagine how beautiful life is to know God. God is everything and God is good. The book is full of undemanding stories taken from various books and magazines that are collected and published once again. I remember after reading each story, I cannot help myself but shed a tear. I realize how God has given us His one and only son Jesus to save us from the fires of hell. He gave us His one and only son to save us from our sins and that, His salvation is free. Though I am born and baptized as a Christian, I admit that even as a Christian, I did not know God or Jesus. Yes, I knew Him but I have not really met Him. It is as if I only take it for granted that I am a Christian without really knowing the purpose of being a Christian. Nevertheless, after the message I have absorbed from the book, I learned that the real purpose of life is to live for others or at least know God. You see, God is everything and that He is everywhere. Despite the fact that we may not really see Him face to face or eyes to eyes, still He is just there looking at us. Perhaps we might see Him if only we would open up our hearts and savor the meaning of his love.

Just as what Rick Warren said in his book, "The purpose driven life; the starting place must be with God and His eternal purposes for each life. Real meaning and significance comes from understanding and fulfilling God’s purposes for putting us on earth. It is hard—almost impossible—to explain the meaning of life without God, and that’s why everything starts here. God brings design and purpose to our existence. God has a plan that stretches beyond our history. God wants a relationship with us. That in itself gives us meaning."
